Q: How long does it take to fully charge the battery?
A: About 5 hours from empty to full using the included dual-port charger. The LED indicator will show full when charging is complete.
Q: Will this battery work with other brands of heated gloves?
A: This battery is designed and tested for Gokozy 7.4V Heated Ski Gloves. We do not recommend using it with other brands, as connector shapes and voltage requirements vary.
Q: Can I take this battery on a plane?
A: A 2500mAh 7.4V battery is well under the 100Wh airline limit and can normally be carried in your hand luggage. Always check your airline's latest policy before flying.
Q: How should I store the battery in the off-season?
A: Store at about 50% charge in a cool, dry place. Recharge every 3 months to keep the cells healthy and extend battery life.
Q: What's the difference between this battery and the 5V power bank?
A: 7.4V batteries are made for heated gloves (which need higher voltage to heat the small carbon fiber elements). 5V power banks are for our heated vests, jackets and body warmers. Always match the voltage to your product.
Q: My battery is no longer holding charge. Is it covered?
A: Yes — Gokozy batteries come with a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Contact support@gokozywear.com with your order number.
